Utterly charming, mid-production example of the wonderful revised 1991cc TR3, colloquially termed TR3’A’.

Presented in Old English White with nicely contrasting black hide interior with cream piping. The car is lightly patinated with solid fundamentals. The floors have all been replaced (documented and evident) and the general structure is very good. A car to be driven and enjoyed rather than squirreled away in a garage; it comes with an exceptionally good tonneau cover and hood with side screens to cover trips out and overnight jaunts in all eventualities of weather.

Sundry invoices from the likes of Northern TR Centre in the history file show an engine rebuild took place in 1996, including thereafter an unleaded head conversion with parts sourced and documented from TR Bitz in Cheshire. Returning in 2012 to near its birth place of Coventry, there is a record in the history file of a rolling-road session performed at ‘Hi-Tech Motorsport & Performance Parts’ in Cradley Heath. This shows a very healthy 108BHP recorded at 5,130rpm, whilst running on the correct twin SU carbs which contribute to the fabulous noise this little TR generates. This delightful classic British sportscar has covered a mere 1,133 miles since and drives very pleasingly in all regards. Any inspection welcomed.
